Commander Compass is a comprehensive offline GPS app designed for outdoor and off-road navigation. It offers a wide range of features, including a hi-tech compass with maps, gyrocompass, GPS receiver, waypoint tracker, speedometer, altimeter, Sun, Moon, and star finder, gyro horizon, and coordinate converter. With the ability to save custom places and waypoints, navigate precisely to them later, display detailed GPS information, measure distances and angles, among other functions.

The accuracy improvement techniques, special compass modes, and calibration methods available in Commander Compass set it apart as a real instrument and the most advanced and accurate digital compass available.

Through its 3D functionality, Commander Compass provides real-time object positions, information, and directions overlaid on maps or a simple background. Users can save their current position, add points from maps, manually input location coordinates and bearings, or utilize a built-in star catalog to add stars. Finding saved places and objects is made easy by following directional arrows. The app can also track multiple targets simultaneously and display their information such as distance, direction, azimuth, elevation, and estimated time of arrival.

Users can copy, paste, and share locations, coordinates, and map links using various supported formats.

Commander Compass includes GPS functionality that allows users to find and track their location with detailed real-time GPS data. This includes coordinates in multiple formats, altitude, course, current and maximum speed (both horizontal and vertical), all available in imperial, metric, nautical, and surveying units.

The app also supports different map styles and alternative map providers to visualize positions on maps accurately and plan waypoints. It even offers the ability to measure distances.

For those who wish to navigate by stars with precision accuracy despite not having an internet connection, Commander Compass can track the positions of stars, the Sun, and the Moon.

The app provides helpful resources such as video demonstrations and manuals for further assistance.

Commander Compass GO offers a subscription option with Commander Compass GO Plus. This monthly subscription, priced at $3.99, provides access to additional map styles, including cycling maps or public transport maps.

Subscription renewal will take place automatically unless the auto-renew option is turned off at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to the iTunes Account upon confirmation of purchase. The subscription can be canceled and auto-renewal turned off through the iTunes account settings at any time.
